The Regularisation of Long-Term Undocumented Migrants Scheme was launched 31st January 2022 and closed on the 31st July 2022.
Applicants who were successful would have had a decision issued to them some time in 2022. Subsequently a 2-year “Stamp 4” permission was issued upon registration.
Therefore, Stamp 4 permissions issued in 2022 would expire sometime this year (2024).
This permission can be renewed at least a month before your Irish Residency Permit (IRP) card expires.
How to Renew my Stamp 4 Permission via the Undocumented Scheme?
If you live outside Dublin, you should contact your local immigration office.
If you live in Dublin, you can renew online through the Immigration Service Delivery (ISD) website: https://inisonline.jahs.ie/
Conditions on Renewal
Your letter of approval will have conditions provided in them. The renewal application may be successful when the conditions are met.
Required Documents
The documents required for renewing your Stamp 4 under the Undocumented Scheme are as follows:
- Your current valid passport(s);
- Your IRP card;
- Your permission letter from the Department of Justice that details the conditions under which you were granted a Stamp 4 (if applicable);
- Proof of your current address in Ireland.
Fee
There is a registration fee of €300.00 for registration, where applicable.
Outcome
Upon a successful renewal application, a Stamp 4 permission may be issued for one or more years.
